welcome to ap-sculpture my guy
Now I didn't want to start any projects this week because Its the final week and I didn't want to risk not finishing it. Although I did go ahead and sketch and plan out some possible ideas for upcoming projects.

This week I used the last bit of clay I could find to begin making this piece> I haven't come up with a full story for it just yet but I know its going to represent extinction or deforestation. I used my pit fired vase from a previous project to help create this piece as well as wire, hot glue and clay. right now the clay leaves await the kiln and I will finish the e piece with glaze and acrylic paint later on.
Because of the lack of clay and clay being my main source of creating my projects I wasn't able to make any new pieces this week so I took the opportunity to finish all my near completed pieces. This into the deep piece is not completely done because it still needs some acrylic paint, glossy finish, and some leveling before I will post it as completed though after some fail attempts I found the perfect spot for all my tentacles and used hot glue to make sure they stay. I tried and failed using the ceramic glue because it took forever and a day to dry.
This week I really buckled down into my down under piece. I made my signature tentacles designed to go around the boat half. The boat looks the way it does because its supposed to represent to tentacles pulling it down into the sea. This piece Is growing to become one of my favorites. Now it just awaits the kiln.
This week was very productive as I had finished my GMO pear piece and had started on my nanny cam Piece. This piece (nanny cam) was inspired buy the popular instances where people hack into other people's security cameras to mess with the residents of the home. Using a previous paper mache piece from before I began to work it into a nanny cam disguised into a stuffed bear.
This week before I began on something new I wanted to come up with at least two Ideas. I used this time to collaborate with my piers to determine if these ideas would not only fit my Concentration but would also fit my level of difficulty to keep me continuously coming out of my comfort zone.
This week I admit that I didn't do much sculpting though I did do more planning. I had changed my Concentration as well. This is because I couldn't find many project ideas that weren't either copy righted or hard to create. So I had to change the names of my pieces and even some meanings to fit my new concentration idea. My new Concentration is the problems in society. I have many future ideas such as the fear of the deep, abuse, drugs and more. I am happier with this new concentration because this idea gives my a broader range of ideas to create.
This week I was able to perfect my 3 completed pieces. (flat earth, 1st grader, and New York underwater). I was also able to take their final photos for my final portfolio.
This painting was about Frida's miscarriage. It shows how the parts of the body contributed to a dead fetus. She paints herself in Henry ford hospital which is also the name of the painting. Each thing floating represented the hurting parts and how she was in pain during this whole process.
